Monday, September 17
Believe it or not Yoga may help you cope with the whirlwind emotions and physical tension that creeps up on you at a moment’s notice. Satya Yoga will be holding a six-week, $50 session every Monday starting at 4:30 pm.
Tuesday, September 18
Habitat for Humanity Tuesday Brews Day
Join Kattan Ferretti Financial at All Saints Brewing Company for local craft beers in support of building decent, affordable homes in Westmoreland County. Tickets are only $10 and all proceeds go to Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity! All Saints will be offering $3 beers and there will be food included with your ticket.
Made in Westmoreland: Seton Hill University
The Westmoreland County Historical Society’s annual Made in Westmoreland program celebrates 100 years of Seton Hill University, a historic site settled by the Pennsylvania Sisters of Charity in 1882 and established as a Catholic college for women in 1918. The program will be held at in Room 206 of Seton Hill’s Administration Building. At 6:30, Seton Hill archivist William Black will give a photo presentation followed by a walking tour of historically significant buildings on campus. Visitors are welcome to arrive at 6 for refreshments and a look at Seton Hill’s “Centennial Wall” timeline.
Looking to learn the fundamentals of meditation? Satya Yoga’s six-week beginner session will do just that. The session costs $5o and is for anyone ages 14 or older.
Wednesday, September 19
Free Admission Wednesday Evenings
The Westmoreland is offering FREE admission every Wednesday from 5pm – 7pm until December 26. Grab a bite from the food truck in the parking lot and relax after the work day!
Great American Music: Essential Machine
Each Great American Music concert will have a cash bar with beer, wine, soft drinks and specialty cocktails, and food available for purchase from Elegant Catering. Come early to explore the Museum for free between 5-7pm. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and members, this Great American Music Series concert with Essential Machine will be FREE to the public. Space is limited and registration is required.
Thursday, September 20
GBGCBW Kickoff Pre-Party & Yapped Can Release
Kick off the 2018 Greensburg Craft Beer Week at Yellow Bridge starting at 6 pm. Yellow Bridge and Tapped Brick Oven & Pour House will be releasing their collaboration – “Yapped.”
Sam Paul will be performing live at Stonewater starting at 6pm! There will be special food and cocktail features to enjoy as well.
Join Hugo’s Taproom and celebrate Oktoberfest! Starting at 8 pm, Hugo’s will be featuring Rhinegeist’s Franz on draft for an über-German drinking experience.
Friday, September 21
This nine day event from September 21-29 is a celebration of the Greensburg community and craft beer. As Greensburg grows, more and more beer establishments are adopting and embracing craft beer and its culture. Events will take place, sometimes simultaneously, at the many bars, restaurants and businesses in the greater Greensburg area. Over 40 events are scheduled, some require pre-registration. GBGCBW Spare Change Collaboration Can Release
Starting at 4pm, Yellow Bridge Brewing will be selling cans of its refreshing blackberry cream ale. Yellow Bridge teamed up with Spare Change to create “Busk & Bramble.” Live music starts at 7pm! You won’t want to miss this Greensburg Craft Beer Week event.
As apart of Greensburg Craft Beer Week, Tapped Brick Oven & Pour House will be featuring a cocktail menu utilizing beers from some local breweries. Beer will be used from Fury Brewing Company, All Saints Brewing Company, Yellow Bridge Brewing Co., and more!
Join Satya for its six-week journey to empowering yourself, learning new things, taking a step toward wellness and just feeling better! This class has limited enrollment, so register now. $50 for the 6 week session.
Rock’em Sock’em Robots Tournament
Join the Fury Brewing Company for its Greensburg Craft Beer Week event starting at 7 pm! There are only 32 entries into the tournament and it only costs $15. Your entry includes pizza and your first pint of Fury Beer. First and second place will walk away with some prizes. Don’t miss out!
Joan Chambers Concert Series: North Sea Gas
Over thirty-seven years and stronger than ever, North Sea Gas is one of Scotland’s most popular folk bands with great vocals and tremendous three part harmonies. Join Music at Pitt-Greensburg for this free event!
Stage Right’s Shrek the Musical
The movie classic about the Ogre with a heart of gold- is a big green musical! Call The Stage Right Box Office for a special downtown Greensburg offer-buy 1 ticket get one free. The musical will be preformed until September 23.
Saturday, September 22
The Greensburg Scavenger Race is a scavenger hunt and race in one hosted by 60 Minute Missions Escape Room starting at 11am. Gather a team of up to four people to take on the mission of finding clues and solving riddles. Sobels Obscure Brewery will be offering beer sampling to participants 21+ at various pit stops throughout the race.
There is no better way to wrap up your summer than a party in the parking lot at Mr. Toads! There will be beer, great food, and live music.
Trike & Chug – Adult Tricycle Race
Trike & Chug, an event that is a part of Greensburg Craft Beer Week, hosted by the Rotary of Westmoreland, puts you in the driver’s seat of an adult sized trike and brings you back to when you were a kid! We’ve put together a fun and family friendly event to help raise awareness for Variety and their “My Bike” program. The goal of Trike & Chug is to raise enough funds to purchase two adaptive bikes for two children with disabilities in Westmoreland County. Make sure to pre-register for this event.
Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day

The official home brew competition & beer tasting of Greensburg Craft Beer Week! You won’t want to miss the chance to sample these great beers — and possibly discover the area’s next brewer. This a ticketed event where guests will be able to taste all of the 2018 GBGCBW collaboration beers and vote for their favorite home brews entered into the competition. Enjoy live music, food trucks and the photo booth then grab some GBGCBW swag at the merch tent! Purchase tickets here.

Sweet Tarte’s Bakerie Beer/Dessert Pairing
