Infant Massage

This class at The Space is a wonderful way to deepen the bond between you and your baby! Infant massage also helps your baby sleep better and relieves gas and colic. Please bring your baby and a blanket, as we will be working on the floor (or possibly outside). Expectant moms are also welcome- please bring a baby doll. Westmoreland County Juvenile Probation’s Family FunFest is back again for another year of FAMILY FUN! Returning once more to our beautiful Twin Lakes Park to provide families in Westmoreland County with valuable resources for physical and mental health and wellness. Starts at 3:30 p.m. Learn more.

Free Palace Theatre Tours

As a cultural landmark of Greensburg for nearly a century, The Palace Theatre has had an intriguing life – everything from a vaudeville stage to a movie theatre to now one of the premier entertainment venues in Westmoreland County. These tours will include interesting facts and trivia about the former Manos Theatre and explore the many architectural and artistic features of the theatre. The Surrender of Robert E. Lee, in 1865

In early April of 1865, the federal Army of the Potomac broke through the lines at Petersburg Virginia, forcing Robert E Lee’s Confederate army to attempt a retreat west and south in order to link up with other rebel forces, hoping to prolong their defeat and make one last effort to win against General Grant. Discuss with General Grant some of the finer details of the meeting which led Robert E Lee to surrender his army, ending the fighting in Virginia during the civil war.
