Monday, January 9

Sound Bath at The Space

Practice Makes Perfect and The Space GBG are teaming up again! Join Gabby for a relaxing Sound Bath as she uses her crystal bowls, Native American flute, Tibetan steel bowls, tuning forks and voice (sometimes drums and bells/wind chimes too). Join in comfortable clothing and bring a mat if you have one. Cost is $30 and preregistration is strongly encouraged as these fill quickly. Learn more.

Tuesday, January 10 

Mini Musicians at Green Beacon Gallery

For little ones who show interest in pursuing a musical instrument, this class not only introduces different instruments to children, but it also teaches very basic theory. Topics include: note identification, musical alphabet, vocabulary and simple rhythm. Classes will utilize music, dance, boomwhackers, miniature working instruments, real instruments, storytelling and games to learn real music theory. Register for the four-week class here. Dynamic Yoga

Join Sarah Stevey for a vinyasa based class with creative transitions at The Space. Release tensions and melt into your body while being guided through an intuitive movement experience. Class starts at 7 p.m. and will be held outside if the weather allows. Reserve your spot here. Learn more.

Art on Tap 2.0: Taste of Westmoreland 

Take a tasting tour of the region at The Westmoreland! Tantalize your tongue and your adventurous spirit as you experience local libations and light bites from a variety of food and beverage vendors. Continue your tour with local music to liven up the evening and a scavenger hunt through the collection. Starts at 6 p.m. and is a 21+ event. It’s the first trivia night of 2023! Teams will consist of 1-4 members going head-to-head in a contest of who knows the most.
