Spring is here, Greensburg! Welcome the season with this week’s community events like Art in Bloom, a Psanky Egg class, an Easter cookie decorating class and more. See the full list below. 

Monday, March 18

Museum Tour with Maureen Kochanek 

Visit the Greensburg Art Center to see the great artwork of American and European museums. Occurs March 11, 18, 25 and April 8 starting at 2 p.m. Costs $60; Register online or by calling 724-837-6791. Learn more.

Pastel Class with Cindy Berceli

Explore and play with soft pastel at the Greensburg Art Center! This class runs for six Mondays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Cost is $65; Learn more.

Tuesday, March 19 

Active Transportation Plan Workshop

The City of Greensburg is hosting a workshop to share information about the Active Transportation Plan and answer questions from members of the community. Learn more.

Explore Acrylics with Ginger Hepler

This one-day workshop at the Greensburg Art Center is perfect for those who are new to and familiar with acrylics! From 10 a.m to 1 p.m., you will paint a fun, colorful, loose rooster! Cost is $30 and includes materials. Learn more.

Creative Perspective with Joe Schildkamp

Be introduced to the fundamentals of designing linear perspective. Through a series of drawing experiences you’ll learn how linear perspective affects the design of still life, figure, landscape, architectural, mechanical and free-form design. A straight edge and triangle ruler is needed for the first class; other materials will be discussed. Class runs for four Tuesdays until April 9 and costs $40. Learn more.

Taco Tuesday & Trivia

Spring and Easter Craft Show

Explore Center Court’s fabulous collection of Spring and Easter gifts during the Spring & Easter Craft Show at Westmoreland Mall. From colorful decorations to unique presents, you’ll find everything you need to celebrate the season in style. Takes place March 20-30 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. except March 24 (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Wine Down Wednesday

Uncork a lovely bottle of wine at half price every Wednesday evening at IronRock from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. In addition to a great wine selection at half price, there is live music on the first floor patio. A delicious charcuterie board is available for $20. Learn more.

Music at Pitt-Greensburg: Spectrum Concert

A Closer Look: Paintings and Prosecco at The Westmoreland

The Biscuits, Choshek & All My Friends Are Cats @ Green Beacon Gallery

Kids Easter – Sugar Cookie Decorating Class

Join The Space for its kid version of its cookie decorating class starting at 3 p.m. Tickets include: six Easter-themed cookies, icing, sprinkles, instruction and all tools needed.
