What’s happening this week in Greensburg, August 28-September 3

We’re leaving August and welcome September this week! There’s still lots going on in Greensburg as we enter the “-ber” months. See this week’s happenings below! 

Monday, August 28 

Munchkins, Music and Me!

This class offered by Practice Makes Perfect Music Studio at The Trendy Bunny studio is focused on getting kids ages six months to four years old exposed to music. This class runs in four week increments and costs $20 a week for drop-ins or $50 per month. There are two times this class will be offered – tickets for the 10 a.m. can be purchased here and the 5:15 p.m. can be purchased here. Learn more.

Drum Circle @ The Space 

Join for a free drum circle led by Josiah Eutsey starting at 7 p.m. Drums will be provided for you to learn a little about each different drum. This will be held outside if weather allows. Learn more.

Tuesday, August 29 

Tuesday Bike Night – Trivia Night

Bike night will run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with trivia starting at 6:15 p.m. First place takes home a $50 Z&M gift card, second place gets a $25 Z&M gift card and third gets a $10 Z&M gift card. The Elegant Catering and Firehouse Subs food trucks will be on site. Learn more.

Tuesday Trivia

Hispanic Horrors Double Feature: Tombs of the Blind Dead (1972) & Grave Robbers (1989) @ GBG

Wednesday Wind Down Night

Full Moon Ceremony 

The Space is hosting a full moon release ceremony where you will embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing. The full moon offers an opportunity to let go of what’s no longer serving us to make room for new intentions. Starting at 7 p.m., a meditation, breathwork and release ritual around a fire will connect you to your breath and body in a profound way. The Cheats – Live at All Saints

Formed in 2001 from the ashes of Silver Tongued Devil, The Cheats decided to create the kind of band that was lacking in their hometown of Pittsburgh, PA – an old-fashioned, late-70’s-style punk rock ‘n roll band. See them perform starting at 7 p.m. Learn more.

Pennsylvania Arts & Crafts Labor Day Festival 2023

Join the Westmoreland Fairgrounds for its 30th Anniversary of the Labor Day Festival. There will be more than 200 indoor and outdoor exhibits with vendors from 13 states. You’ll find floral designs, embellished clothing, candles, jewelry, ceramics and much more.
