Candle & Cupcake Decorating Workshop
Join Wicks & Wax and Frosting with a Twist for the ultimate DIY starting at 5:30 p.m. Start by creating your own hand-poured candle. You’ll get to choose from 70 non-toxic fragrances (a clear vessel is included). While those cool, learn cake decorating techniques as you decorate six rose-themed cupcakes. Creative Perspective with Joe Schildkamp
Be introduced to the fundamentals of designing linear perspective. Through a series of drawing experiences you’ll learn how linear perspective affects the design of still life, figure, landscape, architectural, mechanical and free-form design. A straight edge and triangle ruler is needed for the first class; other materials will be discussed. Class runs for four Tuesdays until April 9 and costs $40. Learn more.

The docents are thrilled to offer engaging tours of the special exhibitions on view in the Cantilever Gallery *most Saturdays* at 1 p.m. during each exhibition run. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes 2024
Walk a mile with Blackburn Center at St. Clair Park to raise awareness about gender-based violence in our community. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk itself starts at 10 a.m. Register online, with paper registrations (in advance) or in person day of. Registration costs $5. 2024 Sixth Annual Chico Outdoor Expo
Chico Outdoors Inc. will be hosting its sixth annual outdoor expo at the Westmoreland Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The day will include: speakers, demonstrations, raffles, Chinese auction, door prizes, kids games, kids fishing pond, live music, vendors and so much more. There will be an Andy Davis Barn Party Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The expo also takes place Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Food and beverages will be available. Youth Clay Class with Johanna Sheppard
This class will teach youth how to create ceramic pieces from low-fire clay using coil, slab and pinch techniques. Pieces will be glazed. Indoor Triathlon at Greensburg YMCA
This dynamic triathlon will consist of a 400-yard swim, 2-mile run/walk and a 9-mile stationary bike ride. Participants will receive event t-shirts and compete for top prizes in their respective age range. Pay rate is $45 for Greensburg YMCA Members until March 1, after which late fees are applicable. Jazz Ambassadors at The Palace Theatre
The Jazz Ambassadors is the official touring big band of the United States Army. Formed in 1969, this 19-member ensemble has received great acclaim at home and abroad performing America’s greatest original art form, jazz. Concerts by the Jazz Ambassadors are programmed to entertain all types of audiences. This concert is free, however, ticket holders will be seated first (must be seated by 2:15 p.m.).
