The Story of Transportation: A Collective Action Project

According to Core Object 7 of the County Comprehensive Plan, “Public transit within the County is limited and faces decreasing ridership. Many areas of Westmoreland are accessible exclusively by automobile, putting greater stress on existing infrastructure.”  Many people in our county do not understand how a lack of transportation options affects the mission of our diverse organizations and impacts the people we serve. As a sector, we want to inform the public about why addressing this issue is so important to the vitality of our region. Come share your story and the story of those you serve, and help create a collective media campaign to raise awareness of this critical issue.
