Pop Up Studio: Twisted Fun

Take some floral wire and twist it into a fanciful and fun sculpture at The Westmoreland! Pop-Up Studios give adults (ages 18 and above) the opportunity to get in touch with their inner artist. Each class explores different techniques and media. No previous art experience is needed. Wine, beer, snacks and materials will be provided. Advance registration is required. J. Trafford at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art

Suavity’s Mouthpiece singer J. Trafford will perform at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art on Wednesday, September 18 beginning at 6:30! The performance will be part of Keystone Pride & Equality Coalition‘s inaugural Listening Session!

Kids Create

Come make crafts, build, explore art, and more at the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library! During every session, we will have a main activity as well as some optional things to do. Enjoy meeting new friends and snacks as we create! Back to School Night

The Westmoreland invites all regional teachers K–12 and administrators to the Museum for a night highlighting what we have to offer you and your students. Learn more about upcoming exhibitions, field trip and outreach opportunities, school partnerships, school programs, and classroom support materials. Take a tour of the Museum’s newest exhibition, Era of Cool: The Art of John Van Hamersveld, and engage in hands-on activities. Three Act 48 Hours will be given for participation. Lite bites, beer and wine will be provided.

Greensburg College Club Meeting

The first meeting of the 2019-2020 Greensburg College Club season will be held on September 19, 2019 at the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center, 951 Old Salem Road, Greensburg. The 7 PM meeting will feature speaker Chris Rodell, a local author, from Latrobe. He will speak about his book on Latrobe legend Arnold Palmer, as well as his other work. All Are Welcome!

Pub Run

Join Gingerbread Running Man for a fun run through downtown Greensburg followed by craft beer cocktails at Hugo’s Taproom as part of Greensburg Craft Beer Week! The run will start at 9:30 in front of Hugo’s. All skill levels are welcome! Then the taproom will open at 10 am with craft cocktails on specials!

2nd Annual Trike & Chug Adult Tricycle Race

Beginning at 12pm! Trike & Chug, an event that is a part of Greensburg Craft Beer Week, puts you in the driver’s seat of an adult sized trike and brings you back to when you were a kid! Support the Rotary of Westmoreland and sign up a team! 

Party in the Parking Lot

Join Mr. Toads as they host the best end of summer party. The day kicks off at noon. Live Music: Same Moon 1-3, B & B Acoustic 3:15-5:15, Sean Howard Orchestra 5:30-7:30, Habatat 8-10 As always they will have the grill fired up, beer trucks & corn hole. Home Brew + Chill

The official home brew competition & beer tasting of Greensburg Craft Beer Week! You won’t want to miss the chance to sample these great beers — and possibly discover the area’s next brewer. This a ticketed event where guests will be able to taste and vote for their favorite home brews entered into the competition. Enjoy live music, food trucks and the photo booth then grab some GBGCBW swag at the merch tent! 30 Home Brewers will be present, attendees will be able to taste over 60 beers! Purchase tickets here.

Brewery Yoga

Enjoy an hour of Yoga in the Yellow Bridge Brewing taproom as a part of Greensburg Craft Beer Week! $15 for a one our session, includes a beer after the class! (for participants over 21)

Barbershop Throwdown 19

This is going to be the second annual benefit to support local veterans. There will be 8 guns given away and a open class Jiu-Jitsu competition with prizes. LADYS this year you will also have your own bracket. There will be food ,beer and entertainment provided. All ages welcome this is a way to raise some money for a good cause and bring everyone together for a fun day.
