Brush Up on Microsoft and Excell

This class is for you if you use Word and Excel and just need to brush up on your skills. We will cover frequently used skills and any skills that you find difficult or do not know how to accomplish. Guest Bartending Challenge Event
Join your favorite local celebrities along with Relay For Life volunteers as we raise money for the American Cancer Society in our Guest Bartender Challenges.  Each week a “team” of locals and relayers will compete to “earn” the most tips in their jars to be crowned Guest Bartending Champion 2019.

Greensburg College Club February Meeting

The Greensburg College Club will meet on February 21, 2019, at 7 P.M. The meeting will be held in the Laurel Room at the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center, 951 Old Salem Road, Greensburg. Mr. Brian Reedy, a representative with Friendship Hill in Farmington, Pa will be the speaker. His topic is “Albert Gallatin and the Whiskey Rebellion of Western Pennsylvania.” He will enlighten us on our involvement in this local rebellion.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23

Yoga Class at Petagogy Greensburg
Join Michelle Keenan, owner of Satya Yoga Greensburg, on Saturday, February 23 at 9:00 am in the Greensburg store for a beginner-friendly yoga class benefiting Wayward Animal Rescue – Greensburg, PAClass cost is a $10 donation (cash or credit card). There are a limited number of spaces so participants should sign up in advance to guarantee a spot in the class. You can sign up in-store or by calling 724-691-0325 (please pay your donation when you sign up). All participants will also receive a $5 coupon to use toward a future purchase at Petagogy!  All class proceeds will go toWayward Animal Rescue – Greensburg, PA, an all-volunteer organization that rescues lost, abandoned, stray or unwanted cats and kittens. Classes are for humans only. Participants must bring their own yoga mat.

Coding Club 10-12 Year Olds

This coding program is intended for older elementary age children to come to the library to continue their knowledge of coding. We’ll be using different devices from the county library system’s Pop Up Creation Labs to learn coding and technology. This program will start with Dot and Dash and will continue based on the knowledge of the children attending. If your experience is higher, you are able to sign up for the next level program. So here’s the deal . . . This year, we are upping the ante and bringing the style and swagger of Vegas to Greensburg! Live entertainment, tasting stations, pop-up wedding chapel, VIP bottle service, photo opportunities, casino games & more! The event launches with a 6:30 PM VIP Party on stage.  The celebration includes passed hors d’oeuvres, champagne, live music, and a commemorative photo. At 7:30 PM, the main event begins and moves from the stage into the outer areas of the theatre for more live entertainment, complimentary tasting stations, photo opportunities, casino games and more.
