The Greensburg Night Market will kick off its 6th season on Thursday, April 25 from 5:30-9:00pm on South Pennsylvania Avenue in downtown Greensburg.
Greensburg Night Market, presented by Charley Family Shop ‘N Save, will host over 150 vendors along 4 blocks of South Pennsylvania Avenue ranging from farmers to ready to eat food vendors, artists, crafters, beverage vendors and so much more.
“We’re really excited to be starting our sixth season,” said Jessica Hickey owner of the Greensburg Night Market. “It’s crazy to think that we started with just half of a block and 28 vendors in 2019 to now 4 blocks, a parking lot and 2 food truck areas holding over 150 vendors each market. It’s been so fun to bring this to our community and see it grow.”
The Greensburg Night Market will host a variety of new and returning vendors for 2024. Over 60% of the scheduled vendors per market are food or drink based for this year. That includes meat providers, jarred products, bakeries, snacks, drinks, alcohol, ready to eat vendors and farmers.
“We know people are coming to eat, drink and enjoy the evening so we’re really trying to bring the vendors people are looking for,” said Hickey. “Vendor selection for us is really important and we want each vendor to do well, so we book based on our attendee demographic and what type of products we know really sell.”
Attendee favorite vendors who will be returning this year include The Pickled Chef, Valley Rose Craft BBQ, Big Buns Cinnamon Rolls, Glass Jewelry by Ashley, Grace n Mae, Logan Family Farms, The Golden Tee and many more.
There will be a variety of brand new vendors to the Greensburg Night Market throughout the season like Animal House, El Chucho, Wednesday Snacks, Crab Raccoon, GS Sando and so many more!
Live music from Chad Toland, The String Theory, The Evergreens and Tim Schmider along with a DJ set from Craked Entertainment will kick off the first market of the season, with one musical act located on each block and in the Block 2 Lot.
New for 2024, the Greensburg Night Market will have a free shuttle, sponsored by Live Casino Pittsburgh from Nicely Elementary School to the market at the corner of West Pittsburgh Street and South Pennsylvania Avenue. The shuttle will have its first pickup at Nicely at 5:15 and its last pickup at market at 9:00pm.
Many local shops, bars and restaurants will be open during the Greensburg Night Market with a number having pop ups inside of their stores.
“We really encourage everyone to not only shop the vendors but also the many businesses that will be open during the market,” said Hickey. “We’ve had a number of new businesses open the last few months along where the market is which is so exciting to see.”
People interested in attending are encouraged to take a look at the Thursday, April 25 Vendor List and the Greensburg Night Market Attendee Info.
