The Grandeur Estate, an elegant mansion hotel located in Greensburg, PA, welcomes visitors to explore the rich history and hospitality it offers for a unique and memorable experience.
Built in the early 1900s for Thomas Lynch, the 2.5-acre estate has been transformed into a hotel, while still preserving the historic detail and elegance of the mansion. The estate comprises the Mansion, Carriage House and the Promenade, according to its website.
When first walking through the front doors of the estate, guests are welcomed into the Presidential Entrance Hall with an east and west wing. The State Dining Room located to the right of the Presidential Hall is a private dining room that can hold 6-8 people.
Guests will encounter the Grand Tiffany Staircase, where the original Tiffany window was furnished at the landing of the staircase. This stained-glass window, created by Louis Comfort Tiffany, portrayed a picture of Lynch’s ancestral home in Ireland. The Tiffany window was removed and now hangs in The Westmoreland Museum of American Art.
The Grandeur Estate offers 17 suites for residents to stay in, each with its own unique design to provide a comfortable and elegant environment for their guests. Each suite is fully furnished with a seating area and all premium carpeted floors. Suites offer private bathrooms with hand picked Italian tiles and non sulfate products. Rooms available include The Majestic Suite, The Regency Suite, The Excelsior Suite, The Opulence Suite and The Coronation Suite.
The colors of the furniture in each room, as well as in the bathrooms, are designed to match each other. This allows for each room to have its own charm and exquisite detail. Guests may notice there are no TVs in the suites. The purpose of no TVs is to prohibit residents from being closeted in their rooms, and instead, explore the beauty of the estate.
All guests staying in the suites will have access to The Residency Lounge. This shared area is for guests to eat, watch TV, do work and to socialize. This lounge is exclusive for residents.
Food and beverages are included, with premium water and coffee, as well as a breakfast provided for residents to enjoy.
