Free Admission Wednesday Evenings

The Westmoreland is offering FREE admission every Wednesday from 5pm – 7pm until December 26. Grab a bite from the food truck in the parking lot and relax after the work day!

Pop-Up Studio at The Westmoreland

Do you have a large amount of plastic grocery bags milling around? Then we have a project for you to put them to good use! This is a plastic bag fusing project that goes beyond craft to fine art. Using an iron to fuse various layers and colors of plastic bags to create a beautiful and unique image that can be framed and displayed proudly. Please bring your own iron and bags.

Downtown Greensburg Music Fest

The Westmoreland Cultural Trust presents the 1st Annual Downtown Greensburg Music Fest! The night is full of FREE events starting at 4pm including open mic at DV8 Espresso Bar & Gallery, SummerSounds and an after show at Mr. Toads. See the complete event list and times in the link above.

TGIS Art & Music Finale

Join The Westmoreland Cultural Trust and The Palace Theatre and celebrate the end of summer by watching the top four bands from the TGIS series preform! There will also be up-and-coming bands preforming near Art in the Alley, a local food truck in the Helman-Ghrist lot and tables of local art vendors. This free event is from 6pm – 10pm.

Saturday, September 8

Free Palace Theatre Tours

These one-hour tours include interesting facts and trivia about the former Manos Theatre, a vaudeville and movie house that opened September 2, 1926. There are two tour times of 9am and 11am; they are free admission and no registration is required. 

GRAND Re-Opening PARTY at Moonglow Yoga

Join Moonglow Yoga for a re-opening celebration in their parking lot from 1pm – 4pm. There will be live entertainment, yummy eats, giveaways and more!

4th Annual Adoption Reunion

Join us for our 4th Annual Adoption Reunion! If you’ve adopted a furry family member from Animal Friends of Westmoreland we would love to see you both at the reunion! 10am -2pm, Pavillion #10 at Twin Lakes Park near the dog park. All people friendly and dog friendly dogs are welcome!

Artists Who Teach, Talk – at The Westmoreland

The Artists Who Teach exhibition celebrates the incredible talent and broad range of art making in this region today by highlighting the work of 58 contemporary artists who also teach at local colleges and universities. Join us in the galleries to listen to a selection of the artists discussing their work in a series of three talks throughout the run of the exhibition.

Habitat for Humanity Tuesday Brews Day

Join Kattan Ferretti Financial at All Saints Brewing Company for local craft beers in support of building decent, affordable homes in Westmoreland County. Tickets are only $10 and all proceeds go to Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity! All Saints will be offering $3 beers and there will be food included with your ticket.

Greensburg Craft Beer Week

This nine day event from September 21-29 is a celebration of the Greensburg community and craft beer. As Greensburg grows, more and more beer establishments are adopting and embracing craft beer and its culture. Events will take place, sometimes simultaneously, at the many bars, restaurants and businesses in the greater Greensburg area. Over 40 events are scheduled, some require pre-registration. GBG Scavenger Race

The Greensburg Scavenger Race is a scavenger hunt and race in one hosted by 60 Minute Missions Escape Room starting at 11am. Gather a team of up to four people to take on the mission of finding clues and solving riddles. Sobels Obscure Brewery will be offering beer sampling to participants 21+ at various pit stops throughout the race.

Party in the Parking Lot

There is no better way to wrap up your summer than a party in the parking lot at Mr. Toads! There will be beer, great food, and live music.

Home Brew + Chill

The official home brew competition & beer tasting of Greensburg Craft Beer Week! You won’t want to miss the chance to sample these great beers — and possibly discover the area’s next brewer. This a ticketed event where guests will be able to taste all of the 2018 GBGCBW collaboration beers and vote for their favorite home brews entered into the competition. Enjoy live music, food trucks and the photo booth then grab some GBGCBW swag at the merch tent! Purchase tickets here.

How to Adult: Beer Literacy

In celebration of Greensburg Craft Beer Week, what would be better than learning all about beer! Beer Literacy will be held on Monday, September 24 from 6:30-7:30pm at the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library, attendees will learn all about brewing beer, plus identifying flavors in beer from Ryan Slicker, owner and brewer of Fury Brewing! $15 at the door pays for the tasting but spaces are limited so registration is required.

Beerasana at All Saints Brewing Co.

Red Brick Yoga will be at All Saints Brewing Co from 7pm – 9pm! Join them for a one hour Vinyasa Yoga session, beer tasting with one free pint & $3 pint specials and giveaways for $25!

Bikes + Brews Parking Lot Jam

As part of Greensburg Craft Beer Week, Flat Tire Co. will be hosting a parking lot jam! Stop by for a ride up to the Five Star or the free little kids race! Not into bikes? Wellness on the Point will also be hosting yoga from their location upstairs. Just want to hang out? Swing by for a good time. We will have beer 5pm to 8pm (beer sponsor TBD).

Homecoming & Family Weekend at Seton Hill University

Run Greensburg Pub Run

Join Run Greensburg and Gingerbread Man Running Company for a fun run to celebrate Greensburg Craft Beer Week! This event is open to all, we’ll have varied paces and distances (including walkers). There will be craft beer and “beer cocktails” at Hugo’s afterwards! It is free for all, but it is asked that runners register using the link above.

Yoga Under the Stars + Beer Tasting

There’s still time for one more class outside! Join us for our next Yoga Under the Stars event on September 29 from 7:30-8:30pm on the top of the Robert Bell Parking Garage as a part of Greensburg Craft Beer Week! Class will be followed by a free beer tasting nearby at Hugo’s Taproom! Brewers Double Dare

Get ready to relive the 90s and get a little messy, brewers! Breweries will go head-to-head by answering craft beer centric questions; competing in slimy, messy physical challenges; and ultimately facing the difficult obstacle course to determine who the Brewers Double Dare champion is. Everyone is encouraged to attend, spectate, and cheer on your favorite brewery at All Saints Brewing Co. starting at 2pm!
