RSVP is hosting a grand re-opening and ribbon cutting on Thursday, February 20 from 4:30-6:30pm to celebrate the new ownership that took the reins in early January.
The grand opening celebration will be kicked off with a ribbon cutting from the Latrobe Laurel Chamber of Commerce at 5pm. Local businesses will also be present including Mad Scientist with beer samples, La Vigneta Winery with wine samples, cookies from Oh Sugar!, cake from Charley Family Shop n’ Save and catering by Miss Meatball.
“If you would have told me 6 months ago that I would be a small business owner, I would have called you crazy,” said owner Merrill V “That being said, I am more than thrilled to be embarking on this adventure with these two fabulous women and can’t wait to see what the future holds for RSVP.”
RSVP is your one stop gift, custom invitation and monogram store. Opened in November of 2010 RSVP has been growing ever since. With over 1,000 weddings under their belt they have been able to be a part of the most important day of many peoples lives. It has been their pleasure to get to know families through wedding planning and continuing to be a part of their lives through the births of their children and beyond. “I’m so excited to begin this adventure as an owner of this business that I have worked for in the past several years,” said owner, Elizabeth Snowman. “I have been honored to help clients through some of their happiest moments and cannot wait to continue the adventure with two new amazing, strong and fierce business partners.”
For the last few years they’ve carried a variety of gifts for many occasions as well as customizing gifts with monograms. Nora Fleming, Mudpie, Corkcicle, Scout are just a few of the lines they stock in their store. They specialize in bachelorette, bridal shower gifts, baby shower and every type of gift in between. They soon will be partnering with other businesses and lines to bring new products and experiences to their expanding client base.
“Being a part of the next chapter of RSVP is so rewarding,” said owner Suzanne Ward. “We’re excited to have a grand re-opening to introduce ourselves and bring our vision for RSVP to life.”
