New Greensburg business, The Laurel Marketplace to include handcrafted products from local small businesses

A new business is opening its doors, The Laurel Marketplace will be celebrating their grand opening in downtown Greensburg on Saturday March 18th.

The Laurel Marketplace store is owned and operated by Marsha Bauer. This store and business name grew from the business Marsha has owned for about 19 years. They offer a variety of products including handcrafted herbal soaps, lip balms, teas, chocolates & pastries, pottery, kombucha, handcrafted jewelry, local honey, locally grown hemp, and more! She started The Laurel Marketplace because she wanted to offer a variety of local products in one store.

They currently offer consumable items and handcrafted products from local small businesses and house 7 established businesses with more coming soon! Their current vendors include Laurel Country Herbs, Confections by Christiana Elizabeth, Grace Pottery, Keystone Cultures, Lululux Jewels, Ligonier Valley Hemp Company, John’s Other Honey. Soon to join the list are The Greenberry and Cherish Creamery, with other local farmers and businesses as the company grows.

Marsha chose Greensburg for their location because she wanted to “provide quality local products from established businesses to our community in town & surrounding areas”.

The Laurel Marketplace had a soft opening on March 1st and will officially open on March 18th. Their hours are: closed Sunday-Tuesday and open Wednesday-Saturday 11:00am-5:00pm. They are located in a newly renovated space at 14 West 2nd Street, Greensburg, PA, United States, Pennsylvania.
