A school supplies donation invests in the future by improving the resources available to students. Invisible Man Brewing in downtown Greensburg is hoping to help do just that with their School Supply Drive August 18-22.
All school supplies collected will be donated to the Greensburg Salem School District to help any students or teachers in need. Not only will you feel great about helping out local kids but you’ll get $1 off your first beer because of it!
Teachers who bring in their school ID badge will receive $1 off all of their drinks on Saturday, August 21.
The following items are needed:
- Elmer’s glue sticks (purple)
- #2 Pencils
- 24-ct Crayola Crayons
- Yellow Highlighters
- Erase caps/tips
- 4-pack of Expo Dry Erase Markers
- Black Expo Dry Erase Markers
- Standard Plastic Pencil Box (flip top – no metal, no pouches)
- Spiral 1 Subject Notebook
- 3 Ring Binders
- Black or Blue Pens
- Calculators
- Mechanical Pencils
- Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, feminine hygiene products etc.)
When you donate necessary school supplies, you relieve many families of a financial stressor that influences how prepared their children are for the school year.
Though kids may not say so, knowing they can depend on a backpack full of organized papers, pens, pencils, and art supplies is comforting. Arriving equipped for the school day also helps them feel confident in their ability to function in the classroom.
Drop off school supplies during opening hours at Invisible Man Brewing. Wednesday 4-9pm, Thursday 4-10pm (Trivia Night) Friday 4-10pm, Saturday 12-10pm and Sunday 12-6pm.
