Wintertime in Greensburg is beautiful, but it can get COLD. If you’re anything like us, you probably still like to get out in this weather, but would rather avoid the frigid conditions.
If you’re looking for a cure to your cabin fever that doesn’t make you feel like your toes are about to fall off, look no further. We’ve put together a list of local establishments who offer trivia and karaoke, spanning all throughout the week, Monday-to-Saturday.
TEST YOUR KNOWLEDGE AT TRIVIA
Conveniently located at 132 S Pennsylvania Ave, Invisible Man Brewing recently opened its doors in November of 2019 and has quickly become a noteworthy location in the heart of the city. On Thursday nights beginning at 7pm, owner Shaun McGluaghlin hosts trivia to entertain you while you enjoy a wide variety of delicious craft beers. First and second place receive IMB gift cards as well.
Invisible Man Brewing also hosts board game nights on Wednesdays. Bring your own game, or pick from one of the many options they have in house!
Located at 106 West Pittsburgh Street, Hugo’s taproom has a large selection of spirits and is always rotating a variety of different kinds of craft beers on tap from all over the country. In addition to there billiard area and electronic dart board, they offer trivia on Monday nights at 8pm.
Taco/Trivia Tuesday’s at Sports & Social Steel City are a must! In addition to $2 Tacos (Chicken, Pork or Beef), $20 Margarita Pitchers, $20 Domestic Beer Buckets, $3 Miller Lite Drafts and $4 Margaritas, Trivia starts at 8pm. As if that wasn’t enough, the winning team gets a $100 Sports & Social gift card to take home!
All Saints Brewing Co. / Yellowbridge Brewing
All Saints Brewery is located past lynch field on Route 119 and Roseytown Rd. They are open from 4-9pm on Wednesday, and trivia begins at 6:30.
Yellowbridge Brewing is located in Delmont and also offers trivia on Wednesday nights beginning at 7pm. They are open from 4-10pm.
SING YOUR HEART OUT AT KARAOKE
Located across from Main Bowling Center at 534 S Main St, Callahan’s has been a favorite for karaoke in greensburg amongst young adults and college students for some time. Whether you are looking to keep the party going after enjoying some brew’s and bowling at Main, and just looking to sing your heart out, they put on some killer karaoke on Wednesday’s nights beginning at 8pm.
Unity Brewing
Located just down route 30 in Latrobe, Unity brewing not only serves up delicious craft beer, but also boasts a creative and wide ranging menu of food items. If beer, burgers, steak, shrimp, and meatballs isn’t enough for you, they have open mic night every Tuesday.
Serving up good food and drink with even better prices, Badges Bar and Grille is a local staple. Its location at 9 E Pittsburgh street makes it the perfect pace to end up at after a night of exploring the city. Karaoke is sung at Badges on Thursday nights as well as every other Saturday night. Stop by to enjoy yourself and to support our local fire-fighter heroes.
Scooby’s Pub and Dagwood’s Subs and Suds is a restaurant and bar located across from Sheetz at 414 New ALexandria Road. They offer quality, inexpensive food, and the bar stays open until 12am on Friday’s and Saturdays with the Kitchen closing at 9:30. Karaoke takes place from 8:30pm until midnight on saturday, and open mic night is on sundy from 7:30pm until closing at 11.
