TUESDAY, JULY 16

Apartment Open House 

Join the Westmoreland Culture Trust and the Palace Theatre from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 16 for an open house of the newly completed third-floor apartments above The Palace Theatre Box Office and Megan’s Suite. These two and three-bedroom apartments range in size from 808 to 1218 square feet. Monthly rentals include ALL UTILITIES and start at $1,215. Three apartments are currently available for rent.

Weekly farmer’s market in the Buncher Parking Lot on S. PA Ave next to DV8 Espresso Bar & Gallery from 2:30-6pm.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 17

Pop-Up Studio: Psychedelic 2D Wax Painting

Using wax and basic hand tools, you will transform psychedelic designs into colorful and unique 2D creations on Yupo paper. Pop-Up Studios at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, give adults (ages 18 and above) the opportunity to get in touch with their inner artist. Each class explores different techniques and media. No previous art experience is needed. Wine, beer, snacks and materials will be provided. Advance registration is required. Cost: $20 members/ $25 non-members. TGIS – Free Outdoor Concert Series

While supporting local talent, patrons can enjoy a summer of live music for FREE every Thursday evening! The event will begin at 4:30 by Gary Pratt (country) with food provided by Caffe Barista!

Captivating Constellations 

Come down to the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library and bring your curious, creative minds to discuss the various constellations present in our current night sky and create constellation-viewing scopes! This program is for ages 8-11 beginning at 1:00pm and you can register today online or by calling 724-837-5620, ext. 4

Summer’s Place Live

Yappy Hour at Petagogy Greensburg

Yoga Under the Stars

Join us on the top floor of Robert Bell Parking Garage in downtown Greensburg on July 20 from 8:00-9:00pm for Yoga Under the Stars. Please bring your own mat and don’t forget your water! $10 per person + Eventbrite fee (Tickets at the door are $10 cash only)

The 20th annual Five Star Trail Poker Run

The Westmoreland Heritage Trail Chapter has partnered again with the Five Star Trail Chapter to put on the Poker Run, and all proceeds from this event will benefit the two trail chapters. Participants can choose which trail group they would like their entry fees to be credited towards. Registration begins at 8am with the start of the race to follow at 9am!

Parts Swap Parking Lot Jam

Beginning at 10:00am Stop, swap, and save at the Flat Tire Co. Bike Shop ! We will have our big tent set up in the parking lot. Bring your old stuff, bikes, and whatever else you can think of! One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, get your shed cleaned out! Parts swap will be all day long from 10am to 6pm on Saturday July 20th.

Broadway in the Park

Join Stage Right for a showcase of songs from their upcoming season featuring performances from Stage Right artists, special guests, and their 2019 Seniors. Other performances include the Stage Right Sensations and a preview of Godspell and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr.
