Greensburg City Council Meeting

Regularly scheduled Council meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 p.m. All meetings are open to the public and are held in Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of the Greensburg City Hall.

Cooking with Wine – Christmas Edition

Join us for a fun evening of food wine & friends and we show you how to create a fabulous Christmas meal and enjoy with the spirit of the holiday season.. 🍷 by Edgewood Winery.

Greensburg College Club December Meeting

The Greensburg College Club will meet on December 13, 2018 at 2 PM (note time change). The meeting will be held in the Laurel Room at the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center, 951 Old Salem Road, Greensburg. The speaker, Louise Sturgess, is with The Pittsburgh History and Landmark Foundation. Her topic is “Incredible Penn Ave.”

Circluar Abstractions Opening + Art on Tap

This month’s Art on Tap is quite special! Experience the exhibition opening for “Circular Abstractions: Bull’s Eye Quilts” which isn’t open to the public until December 15. Tickets are $9 for members and $12 for non-members online, and $10 for members and $15 for non-members at the door.

Family Fun Night – PJs, Cookies, and a Movie

Greensburg YMCA members and Fall 2 Program Participants and their immediate family are invited to join us as we watch the Trolls movie in our gym. Wear your PJ’s and bring your sleeping bag! We will serve cookies and milk. Movie starts promptly at 6:30. We will do Christmas themed crafts between 6 pm and 6:30 pm.

The Polar Express

The story of “The Polar Express” movie live with dancing and acting from the Seton Hill University Dance Academy.

It’s the merriest concert of the season! Hear all of your Christmas favorite music featuring Ashley Fabian, soprano from the Pittsburgh Opera, the 60-member All-Star Choir and Maria Sensi Sellner, Conductor. The All-Star choir, under the direction of Melody Vigo, includes vocalists from Belle Vernon, Burrell, Derry, Greensburg-Salem, Greensburg Central Catholic, Ligonier Valley and Connellsville high schools.

Kids Paint and Sip
Saturday, December 15th from 1-3pm, $30. Join Blank Slate, Tracey Angelo, and paint your own Christmas Mug and Cookie Plate for Santa. The cost of this event includes light refreshments. Children will select their own design and paint their holiday mug and plate. Parents are welcome to stay or can go do last minute holiday errands.

Chaturanga Yoga Workshop

Holiday Brunch and Exhibition Tour at The Westmoreland

Enjoy a holiday-inspired brunch by Elegant Catering and a tour of Circular Abstractions: Bull’s Eye Quilts with Chief Curator Barbara Jones. $30 for members, $35 for non-members.

Kids Paint and Sip

Sunday, December 16th 1:30 to 3:30 pm $30 Join Blank Slate, Tracey Angelo, and paint your own canvas with a winter snowman scene. The cost of this event includes light refreshments. Parents are welcome to stay or can go do last minute holiday errands.
