Easter is just around the corner, and there are so many fun filled events in the Greensburg area for you to check out!

Family Fun Events

Community Easter Egg Hunt 2021 at Lynch Field 

Please join the City of Greensburg’s Recreation Department as they host their Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 27th! The event is 11am for ages 4 and under, 1130am for ages 5-8, and 12pm for ages 9-12. Registration is required.

16th Annual Egg Stravaganza at Swede Hill Park 

Join Hempfield Township for their  annual “Egg” Stravaganza on Saturday March 27th,  when a very special bunny will be hopping through Hempfield Park to join in an “egg” stra special egg hunt with the children of Hempfield Township. This event is sponsored by the Hempfield Township Board of Supervisors and will include games, egg hunt, prizes, and an appearance by the Easter Bunny. This event is held rain or shine. Registration is required.

A Very Trendy Easter Party! at the Trendy Bunny Studio

Join Trendy Bunny on Saturday, March 27 from 10am-6pm, for a day filled with Easter fun! This event is free but please RSVP to make sure the Easter bunny has plenty of sweet treats and activities for your family! Treat stations, exclusive products, sales, build a basket station and activities for the littles. Wild Botanical will be “hopping” in with some beautiful florals for purchase! AND OF COURSE A GOLDEN EGG HUNT! Check it out! 

Easter Egg Hunt at the Cattfeinated Cat Cafe 

Join the Cattfeinated Cat Cafe on April 3rd for their Easter Egg Hunt benefiting Wayward Whiskers Animal Rescue. The fee is $5 per child and children may collect up to 5 eggs redeemable for prizes at the cafe. Each child will be entered into a raffle to win a grand prize. They will also be having photos with the Easter Bunny for $10. Registration is required.

Easter Open House at Lapels 

It’s time to fill his Easter basket with fashion from his favorite men’s shop – Lapels. Hop into Lapels on Sunday, March 28th for our annual Easter Open House from 12 to 5 p.m., when you can select from new spring fashions, accessories and gifts. Check it out! 

Spring Blooms in Greensburg 

From Saturday, March 20 till Saturday, April 3, come admire windows decorated for Spring! Pick up a ballot at participating businesses and vote for your favorite windows! Your vote also doubles as a free raffle ticket to win a basket filled with gift cards and items from downtown shops. Over a $100 value! Eight downtown businesses have special glitter eggs hidden inside. Find all the eggs from places listed on your ‘Glitter Egg Hunt’ card and you’ll be eligible for another $100 value basket! Adult Easter Egg Hut at the Cattfeinated Cat Cafe 

On April 3rd, for $20 per person, collect up to 5 eggs per person, redeemable for prizes at Cattfeinated Cat Cafe. Relax with the cats in the cat lounges, or spend some time by the firepits. The event is BYOB and you must be 18 years or older. Register now!

Animal Keepers Rescue Easter Photos at Petco 

ALL pets are welcome and family photos are welcome as well! From 1-4pm on March 27 for 10 dollars donated to Animal Keepers Rescue get an Easter picture with your pet and family! Check it out! 

Easter Eggstravaganza at For the Love of Furbabies LLC 

On March 27th and 28th, hop on down to For the Love of Furbabies for an exciting Easter event! Photos with the TJ’s Rescue Hideaway Easter Bunny, an Egg Hunt, yummy treated more. More info! 

Cotton Tail Trail Walk & Egg Hunt for the Dogs

On March 27 at 12:00pm bring your pup to Lynch Field for a trail walk on the 5 Star Trail and an egg hunt with the Humane Society of Westmoreland County. $10 per dog/walker and there will be raffle prizes and fun treats! More info!
