Community Calendar Now Ready for Organization
& Business Event Submissions
The Downtown Greensburg Project’s community calendar is now live! Visitors to the website, downtowngreensburgpa.us, will be able to find local events from a variety of businesses and organizations.
“It can be hard to keep up with all the community events taking place in our town and surrounding areas but we hope to consolidate all the sources into one easy to use place with our community calendar,” said Savannah Butler ofSavvy Shots Photography.
All businesses and organizations will be able to submit their events using the form on the website. Each event will be approved to make sure there are no duplicate events.
“This is something we’ve wanted to launch for awhile now,” said Jessica Hickey, founder of the Downtown Greensburg Project. “We’ve never found one website where all local events are listed in a user friendly way. We’re hoping this one is easy to use and is beneficial to not only the community but to the organizations and businesses submitting.”
