City of Greensburg moves public meetings online

Greensburg City Council has modified its procedures for public council meetings during the pendency of Governor Wolf’s Covid-19 proclamation of disaster emergency.

During the pendency of the disaster, all previously scheduled agenda meetings, being the first Monday of the month at 4:30pm, are cancelled. Regular council meetings, being the second Monday of each month at 6pm will be conducted remotely. Council members will attend the meeting via Zoom and the meeting will be live streamed to the public via Facebook Live on the City’s Facebook Page.

The City will make the agendas for the meetings available to the public no later than the Friday prior to the regular City Council meeting by posting on their Facebook Page, the City website and by emailing anyone who requests it by emailing administration@greensburgpa.org.

Members of the public are encouraged to submit public comments for the meeting by email to administration@greensburgpa.org or by leaving a voicemail to (724) 838-4324 no later than 3:00pm on the date of the regular City Council meeting. Member of the public may also make comments during the Facebook Live and through telephone conference during the meeting. All comments made will only be acknowledged when submitted prior to or during the public comment section of the meeting. The dial in number and access code will be provided to members of the public by contacting the City by calling (724)838-4323 or email administration@greensburgpa.org.

Any persons who abuse the public commenting process will be removed from the remote meeting. The next scheduled City Council meeting is Monday, April 13th at 6pm.
