Going to an ice cream shop is THE essential summer activity, and we’re lucky to have lots of amazing ice cream shops right here in Greensburg. Check out this list to get an idea for your next summer treat!
The Meadows
Hours: 11am-10pm
The Meadows is our go-to spot for frozen custard and Italian desserts, and their treats are made and served fresh daily! Always packed, The Meadows has all the favorites including cones, sundaes, swirls and shakes! They have chocolate and vanilla custard and specialty flavors which change daily! Main Street Sweets
Hours: 11:30am-9pm
Main Street Sweets is the newest ice cream shop in Greensburg and opened in May of 2021. Their crazy milkshakes, topped with whipped cream, candy and cake are very popular and come with unique flavors like chocolate peanut butter crunch, churro, banana cream pie and everything in between. Not into the crazy shakes? No problem! They also offer traditional milkshakes, sundaes and scooped ice cream. Stop into their location on Main Street in downtown Greensburg!
McFeeley’s Gourmet Chocolate, LLC
Hours: Mon-Sat 10am-5pm
We all know that Mcfeeley’s, on South Pennsylvania Ave in downtown Greensburg, makes some pretty incredible chocolatey treats, but they also have 16 flavors of Perry’s Ice Cream every day! They also have their own ice cream truck with ice cream sandwiches, drumsticks, and ice cream bars. Check out the link above for updates on where the truck will be!
Tastyland
Hours: 12pm-9pm
Tastyland, on Rt 66 is a great spot for real soft-serve ice cream cones, milkshakes, and sundaes. But our favorite Tastyland menu items are the low-fat lactose free Dole Whips which come in rotating flavors such as orange-pineapple and raspberry! Peaches n Cream, Inc.
Hours: 12pm-9pm
Peaches n Cream, Inc. is located along State Rt 30, which makes it a perfect stop if you need a sweet treat while traveling. They have it all, from soft-serve ice cream, to sundaes, to milkshakes, to malts, to slushes and more!
Frosty Shack
Hours: 12:00-9:30
The Frosty Shack in Fort Allen on Rt 136 is a summer favorite for many people! They have all the traditional ice cream shack goodies! Milkshakes, soft serve ice cream cones, sundaes in more, there’s plenty to choose from!
Bubba’s Takeout
Hours: 10:30am-9pm
We already love Bubba’s for their pizza and pierogis, but did you know that they carry Perry’s Ice Cream in lots of different flavors in the summer months? We definitely recommend finishing off a delicious meal of pierogis or haluski from Bubba’s with a scoop!
Bonus: Kona Ice of Westmoreland, LLC
