23rd Annual Greensburg Community Days

The rain won’t be stopping the 23rd annual Greensburg Community Days festival held this weekend at Lynch Field.

With rides, games a variety of tasty foods and a plethora of vendors, there is plenty to see and do for everyone this Memorial Day weekend. When entering the festival by the Aerobic Center at Lynch Field, you’ll pass the Greensburg Fire Department, offering demos, junior firefighter challenges and opportunities for the kids to explore and learn about fire trucks!

Head toward the right side of Lynch past the stage and visit the multiple craft, shopping and art vendors. The Greensburg Hempfield Area Libary’s tent has plenty of crafts, balloons and activities for kids, while there, learn about their summer programs and the importance of the library in our community. Another great stop along the vendor row, 60 Minute Missions, an escape room located on E. Pittsburgh St in Downtown Greensburg, will be hosting Black Box Op and Boom or Bust mini missions all weekend.

New this year is the Beer Tent with guest bartenders and seating, a fundraiser for Greensburg Engine Co. 6, located in the inner portion of Lynch Field (it’s muddy getting there because of the rain.)

After you’ve worked up an appetite visiting the vendors, playing some games and riding rides, stop by one of the many food options along the Kirk S. Nevin Arena side of Lynch Field. Two of our favorite Greensburg food trucks are there, Funnel Cake Men, offering their delicious funnel cakes and deep fried oreos and Steel City Chimneys with their chimneys!

Wrap up the evening taking in the entertainment at the main stage and fireworks Saturday night!
