2020 Halloween Events in Greensburg!

We’re almost halfway through October, which means it’s time to get excited about Halloween! The list below has 14+ Halloween themed events you can attend in Greensburg starting as early as October 21st!

October 21

Oktoberfest – 7pm

Join the Olde Spitfire Grille for their Oktoberfest celebration, featuring German themed beers and delicious food! More info

October 23

Oktoberfest – 5-8pm

The Westmoreland Museum of American Art is hosting Oktoberfest with pretzels, polka, pumpkins, and beer! There will be lots of fun activities and live music to enjoy. Guests can reserve a socially distant “table pod” for groups of 2-6 people. Tickets required. More info.

HAMLET (Virtual-Part One) – SHU Theatre & Dance – 8-10:30pm 

Seton Hill University’s theatre department presents a completely virtual production of Shakespeare’s Hamlet! The livestream will occur in two parts. Act I is on Friday and Act II is on Saturday. With ghosts, skulls, fights, and more, it’s the perfect Halloween activity! Tickets required. More info.

The Rocky Horror Show LIVE – 8-11pm 

Stage Right is bringing back Rocky Horror this Halloween! This year, the production will occur under a big top tent in Stage Right’s parking lot. All seating will be socially distant. You have four chances to see the show: Oct 23, 24, 30, and 31. You won’t want to miss this spooky Halloween tradition! Tickets required. More info.

October 24

Kids Halloween Costume Contest Party – 12-2pm 

Painting with a Twist is hosting their annual Kids Costume Contest! Kids will be able to paint their own project, and there will be prizes for best dressed! Registration required. More info.

Haunted Bake Shop – 12-4pm

Try some new exclusive treats and a few of the classics from Maisy Cakes at this spooky and fun event! All you need is your “ghoul friends” and your sweet tooth! More info.

Halloween Costume Parade – 1-2pm

Wear your best costume and join the parade at Hempfield Manor! Wave at residents and enjoy a treat! Make sure to register so that there are enough treat bags to go around. More info.

October Pop Up – 1-7pm

Mz. Jones’ Curiosities will be offering many of their totally unique products during two pop-up shops at their new storefront! The first one is October 24. Their oddities are super fun for Halloween! More info.

Adults Halloween Costume Party  – 7-9pm 

Painting with a Twist is also hosting a Halloween costume party for adults! There will be two hours of painting and a best costume contest! Registration required. More info.

Seton Hill University’s Hamlet (Part 2) – 8-10:30pm

Halloween Yoga – 10-11am 

Voodoo Brewery is hosting a Halloween themed yoga class! Tickets include the one hour class, a 12oz draft of your choice, party glow sticks, and fun prizes! Tickets can be purchased at the door. More info.

October Pop Up – 12-4pm 

Mz. Jones’ Curiosities will be offering many of their totally unique products during two pop-up shops at their new storefront! The second one is October 25. Their oddities are super fun for Halloween! More info.

Trunk or Treat (Hempfield Park) – 2-4pm 

Decorate your trunk and come on down to Hempfield Township’s new fall event! Just bring treats to hand out to the trick-or-treaters. There will be prizes awarded for best trunk decorating and best costume! Registration required for cars and trick-or-treaters. More info.

October 27

Halloween Youth Projects! – 6-8pm 

The Wooden Loft in Greensburg is hosting a fun Halloween themed class for kids! They can choose between making a bag for trick-or-treating or a sign to add to your pumpkin collection! Registration required. More info.

October 30

Trunk or Treat (St. Paul Parish) – 6-7pm

St. Paul Parish is also hosting trunk-or-treat this Halloween! Decorate your trunks and bring some candy to hand out to the trick-or-treaters! Registration is required for cars and trick-or-treaters. Donations are recommended and appreciated! More info.

Halloween Wine Glass Painting with Karen Veltman- 1pm

Join Green Beacon Gallery to learn how to paint Halloween themed wine glasses with Karen Veltman! The event is 21+ and BYOB. Registration is available, but you can also purchase tickets at the door! More info.

CLOSING NIGHT: HALLOWEEN at the Pop-Up! – 4-9pm

Sobel’s Obscure Brewery is having a Halloween party to finish out their pop-up season! There will be live music and a food truck. Halloween costumes are encouraged! More info.

The City of Greensburg’s Halloween Festivities – 5-8pm

The City of Greensburg is continuing their Halloween traditions this year! The parade will begin at 5pm at Lynch Field. Bring the kids in costume to the parade! The Greensburg Salem Marching Band and the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Dept. will also be there adding to the fun! Trick-or-treat will take place around the City of Greensburg from 6-8pm! More info.
