Prantl’s Bakery Acquires Pastor’s and Offering Greensburg Holiday Online Ordering

Prantl’s Bakery, a Pittsburgh icon for over 50 years, is opening a location in the old Anderson’s Market facility at 612 Grove Street, Greensburg, PA. Prantl’s Bakery is considered one of the top bakeries in Pittsburgh and is continually listed as an iconic bakery by a variety of publications including the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, City Paper, Trip Advisor, Tribune Review and the Huffington Post.

Prantl’s is pleased to announce that Pastor’s Special Order Bakery has merged into Prantl’s Bakery. Jeff Pastor has provided Greensburg with the finest tasting, beautifully decorated cakes, cookies and pastries for over 20 years. Prantl’s intends to maintain the strong relationships that Jeff has established over the years with his loyal customers and will continue to provide them with the highest quality baked goods.

Although Prantl’s retail storefront in Greensburg will not be open for walk-in business until 2018, area residents have expressed an interest in purchasing Prantl’s famous Burnt Almond Torte and a selection of their most popular holiday cookies and junior pastries without having to travel to Pittsburgh during the Holidays.

Therefore, during this Holiday season, Prantl’s of Greensburg will be taking online, prepaid orders for pickup only, from 9am-5pm, Tuesday through Saturday, starting December 1. Holiday selections may be ordered online by visiting www.prantlsbakery.com, then clicking “Order for In-Store Pickup: Greensburg Only!” All prepaid orders must be received by December 10, 2017. The last day to pick up your orders at the Greensburg location is Saturday, December 23, 2017, at 5pm.
