Luminaries will line the streets of downtown Greensburg during the 49th annual Luminary Night! This year we are excited to bring the addition of a Tree in the S. PA Ave Parklet, make and take ornaments at three locations to hang on the tree, a Letters to Santa box and a bunch more fun activities!

Schedule of Events (subject to change)

5:00-8:00pm Make and Take Ornaments
Create your own ornament to hang on our tree at Serenity Bead Shop & Studio, the Incubator for the Arts (108 N. Main St. *Restrooms are also available here) or at The Palace Theatre Courtyard!
(1 ornament per person as long as there are supplies available. First come first serve to make your own ornament.)

5:00pm-8:00pm Photo Booth, Holiday Story Time & Letters to Santa Station
Stop by the Palace Theatre Courtyard for some picture fun in our Luminary Night photo booth sponsored by Moxie Events. Don’t forget to write your letter to Santa to drop in the box! (box located in the S. PA Ave parklet)

5:00pm-8:00pm Gift Wrapping
Gift Wrapping station at DV8 Espresso Bar & Gallery. All donations go towards Hospaws, a local organization to help those in need of pet services in the event they can’t care for them.

5:00-8:00pm Christmas Caroling
Listen to all of your holiday favorites in front of The Palace Theatre marquee. Join in with Stage Right, Lea Wesolowski and more!

5:30pm, 6:30pm & 7:30pm Holiday Story Time
Grab a cup of hot chocolate while listening to some seasonal stories in The Palace Theatre Courtyard.

5:30-7:30pm Winter Wonderland
Take a walk down candy-cane lane, say hello to Santa, make a fun craft and enjoy a cookie at The Greensburg Hempfield Area Library‘s annual Winter Wonderland held during Luminary Night in the library basement. No registration needed.

6:00pm-8:00pm Horse and Carriage Rides
Pick up and drop off at the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library, sponsored by the City of Greensburg.

6:00-8:00pm – Live Nativity
A live nativity scene in front of the Westmoreland County Courthouse put on by the Christian Leaders Mentoring. They will have several dance groups, singers and free raffles, along with free hot cocoa & cookies.

7:30-8:00pm – Stage Right Performance
Stage Right will perform all your holiday favorites at the Zion Lutheran Church on S. PA Ave.

5:00pm – ? Invisible Man Brewing Christmas Beer Tasting 
Stop into Hugo’s Taproom during luminary night for a FREE tasting of Invisible Man Brewing’s Yule Lads- a Belgian style double with an ABV of 7.1%

7:00am-7:00pm Caffe Barista 20th Annual Open House

5:00pm-9:00pm McFeely’s Gourmet Chocolate Giveaway
