Giving Tuesday

Celebrate at Dogtopia with a basket raffle benefiting the Dogtopia Foundation. A basket at the front desk full of Dogtopia swag for you and your pup will be raffled off to pet parents who make a donation. Donations can be made in person or online. Dogtopia is so close to sponsoring its first service dog! Help them reach their goal by the end of the year. Learn more.

In Conversation: Katherine Jentleson

Katherine Jentleson, curator of Gatecrashers: The Rise of the Self-Taught Artist in America from the High Museum in Atlanta, and Chief Curator Jeremiah William McCarthy discuss the exhibition and its artists at The Westmoreland. The evening  will conclude with a visit to the Cantilever Gallery to view the exhibition. Intermediate Oil Painting with Doreen Currie

References will include still life subjects, photographs and plein air if the weather is good. The class will focus on mixing color, value (light and shadow, and focal point. This class at the Greensburg Art Center is designed for individuals with past experience working with clay and can work independently. Monitors are present to provide assistance and guidance in the clay studio including tools and glazes. Green Beacon has teamed up with As They Come Animal Rescue to bring you a special evening of capturing lasting Christmas memories! Bring your fur babies for a special Christmas-with-the-Grinch photo shoot. If you don’t have a furry friend yet, ATCAR will have crates of adoptable critters in the gallery to pet and play with. Please remember to also bring their favorite behavioral toys/accessories to help get the best overall picture results.There will also be a FREE kid’s Christmas craftivity table to make ornaments and decorations for the holiday season! Join Cross Your Paws Rescue December 1-4 to stuff the van as many times as possible with donations! The van will be in the Petco parking lot 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on 12/01, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on 12/02, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on 12/03 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on 12/04. Local artists, musicians, poets, comedians, performers, etc. are welcome to come show Greensburg what they’ve got. Performers will have 25 minute sets with five minutes between for changeover. The sign up list to perform will be posted in front of the stage at 7 p.m. Microphone and stage backline available (drums [minus breakables & stands], bass amp, guitar amp). Pet Photos with Santa at Petagogy Greensburg 

Bring your pets anytime between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. for photos with Santa taken by local pet photographer Jessica Wasik of Bark & Gold Photography. Jessica will take a free digital photo of your pet(s) sitting with Santa and provide options for ordering prints, holiday cards and more. Pets will be seen on a first come, first served basis and should be comfortable around other animals and people. Dogs must be on leashes (no retractable leashes, please). ROW Christmas Bar Crawl
