October is here in Greensburg! All the fall and Halloween events are upon us. This week’s list includes trivia, live music, crafts, Oktoberfest events and more. Check it all out below!

Monday, September 30 

Mega Money Bingo at The Venue Live!

Doors open at 5 p.m. and games start at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $40 and will be sold at the door. Admission includes: 120N Paper Package for Regular Games, 60N Paper for B-N-O, 60N Paper for Lucky 7, 60N Paper for Postage Stamps, 60N Paper for Jackpot, a free dauber, additional 60N regular games ($5) and additional 30N specials (all($5)). Pastel Class with Cindy Berceli

This spirited class at the Greensburg Art Center offers many gems of information on technique and the application of pastels. You’ll experiment with different surfaces while working from still life and/or photos. Beer Bingo 

Join Stone Bridge Brewing on the first Tuesday of every month for beer bingo starting at 6 p.m. Win prizes, drink beer, have a bite to eat and enjoy life. Learn more.

Exploring Hand-building in Clay with PJ Appleby 

Discover the joy and simplicity of hand-building in clay at the Greensburg Art Center. This class will guide you through hand-building techniques such as pinch pots, slab construction and coil building as well as how to combine and utilize the various techniques to create your own unique pieces. This class runs for eight Tuesdays from September 17 to November 5 starting at 6:30 p.m. This class is beginner level for ages 18+. This class at the Greensburg Art Center explores watercolor design, materials and techniques to achieve success while enjoying the process of creativity. Watercolor with Kathleen Mitchell at Greensburg Art Center – Session I

Experience beginner watercolor using a limited palate, values 1-10 and create textures. You’ll learn the importance of leaving white on the paper, light direction and creating color harmony while painting loosely vs. tightly. Jigsaw Puzzle Race at Stone Bridge Brewing

Puzzles & Pints is perfect for lovers of jigsaw puzzles and beer! Teams of four will compete head-to-head in who can put together a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle the fastest. Pittsburgh Chamber Brass: Bach to Blues 

Join The Westmoreland for a captivating evening featuring the Pittsburgh Chamber Brass! This concert is tied to the Museum’s exhibition “All the Right Notes,” featuring a dynamic range of artworks and objects inspired by the ethereal nature of music. While the concert begins at 7 p.m., all are encouraged to arrive at 6 p.m. to peruse the galleries. A cash bar will be available. Couples Paint Date: Spooky Skulls @ Green Beacon Gallery
