Drawing Dynamics with Joe Schildkamp
This class starts with an intro/review of basic drawing approaches. The application of various marking techniques that imply texture and decorative pattern, and the use of value contrast to imply form and space will be explored and practiced. The 15th century morality play EVERYMAN is cleverly and a bit irreverently reimagined in Jacobs-Jenkins metatheatrical adaptation. A finalist for the 2018 Pulitzer Prize, this hilariously sobering lottery game of life begs the question: who/what will go with us to the great beyond?
