MONDAY, MARCH 25

Middle School Maker Mondays
This event, held at the Greensburg Hempfield Library, is for grades 6-8 or ages 11-14. Come to the Katie Room, eat snacks, and make new friends! Middle School Maker Mondays are from 6:00-7:30 p.m. 

Celebrate Spring with Bell’s Brewery!
Celebrate spring with Bell’s Brewery at the Headkeeper Tapas Bar from 6-9 PM! We will be tapping everyone’s favorite fair weather beer, Bell’s Oberon as well as a very special keg of Bell’s Mango-Habanero Oberon.  Mango-Habanero Oberon is the exact same recipe as regular Oberon, but puréed mango and habanero peppers are added during fermentation.

TUESDAY, MARCH 26

Mini Makers
Bring your child to the Greensburg Hempfield Library for Mini Makers, an event for ages 8-10 or grades 3-5. It will take place from 6:00-7:30 p.m., and this event will feature strawbees and rigamajig. 

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27

Bartender Showdown for Shelby
Shelby LeBar is a 27 year old young woman who has worked at Parkwood Inn as a server until her life has recently been put on hold by severe epilepsy and pending brain surgery. Help Parkwood Inn alleviate some of her financial burdens by joining them for this guest bartending event!

Clay Play: Denise Moore, Joanna Sheppard
Feel free to experiment with wheel throwing and hand building. All students work at their own pace and come when able. Ages: high school-adult with Instructors- Johanna Sheppard & Denise Moore Wednesdays 6:30-9:00 beginning March 6. THURSDAY, MARCH 28

Epic Big Bad Tap Takeover
From 6-11 PM, all your favorite Epic Baptist variants will be on Tap at Tapped Brick Overn & Pour House, including: Baptista, Quad Barrel, Son of Baptist, Triple Barrel Plenty of giveaways and other surprises as well. Hope to see you then!

Adult Book Discussion at GHAL: Carnegie’s Maid
Please join us for a discussion of Carnegie’s Maid: A Novel by Marie Benedict led by Mary Beth Spore. Register in advance so that a book can be made available for you.

FRIDAY, MARCH 29

Spring Yappy Hour at Petagogy Greensburg
Bring your pup and join us for good beers, good dogs and good times on Friday, March 29 at Petagogy Greensburg! From 6:00 to 8:00 pm enjoy free beer–for the humans–and free Barley Bones Craft Dog Treats–treats made from spent brewing grains–for the dogs!  Our guest bartenders for the evening will be from Pet Friends, whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and find permanent homes for lost and unwanted dogs and cats in western Westmoreland County.

SATURDAY, MARCH 30

Workshop by Bob Bickers
Working along with the instructor, Bob Bickers, participants will learn the basics of composition, effective use of colors and values, and the use of brushes, tools and techniques. This event will be at the Greensburg Art Center and starts at 1:00 p.m.

Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity’s 6th Annual Gala!
This event will be taking place at Stratigos Banquet Center from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m and is hosted by Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity. Individual tickets cost $50 per person.

Liquid Motion Dance Workshop
Dance from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at FitnessEnvi! There will be two workshops–Secrets to Understanding Basework and Flares, Flops, and Money Shots.

Greensburg YMCA Inaugural Indoor Triathlon 
Head to the Greensburg YMCA for their first ever Indoor Triathlon! The event will take place at 8:00 a.m.

Pronunciator
Pronunciator is a free online language program that you can access through our website with your library card. Come learn how Pronunciator works and begin your journey with any of the 90+ languages at Greensburg Hempfield Area Library from 1-2 PM!   Register online or call 724-837-5620.

Bowl For Kids’ Sake
Our 2019 Bowl For Kids’ Sake event will be held at Yough Bowling Alley on March 31st OR to Hillview Bowling Alley on April 7th! This year is shaping up to be the best one yet! Prepare to blast into the past with 80’s music and styles! DJ Adam Bomb will be keeping the party going with his excitement and SELFIE STATION! Chess Club (ages 8 through adults)
