Read to Succeed: Preschool Edition

Join us for a fun program designed to expose preschoolers to foundational skills needed for their future kindergarten success, including fine motor skills. recognizing their names, and letter and shape recognition! Each week, we will explore a different theme with a fun story, games, a craft, and a snack. This program will be taught by a local kindergarten teacher. Come make crafts, build, explore art, and more! Every session, we will have a main activity as well as some optional activities. Enjoy meeting new friends and having snacks as we create. Nugget Nectar First Squeeze

Join Jess from Vecenie Distributing and Heather from Tröegs Independent Brewing for a Nugget Nectar tapping at Tapped Brick Oven and Pour House. In addition to regular Nugget Nectar, we’ll be tapping the rare nitro version of it as well. There will be cool giveaways throughout the night; start planning now and come spend the evening with us.

Come get your singing on while supporting a great cause at The Lamplighter! Guest bartenders from local community theatres will serve you (and hopefully sing a song) with all tips going to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region. Raffle prizes and singers will keep this party going until 11PM!

Yoga & Beer

Join Invisible Man Brewing at the brewery for their weekly all levels yoga class! Every Saturday from 11am-12pm, Courtney will be hosting a fun and relaxing hour of yoga and meditation at Invisible Man Brewing. The cost is $15 per person and includes a pint of one of their craft beers.

Youth Grand Opening Party

Come see Westmoreland Ballet Company’s beautiful, new, state of the art facility! Enjoy their historic architecture, high ceilings and experience our perfectly optimized ballet floors! All are welcome! Their ballerinas will be celebrating their Cinderella cast parties and available for ballet demonstrations. Plenty of fun activities and snacks will be offered!

Community Day: Love Goes Pop!

The Museum embarks on a love and Pop art adventure! This free community day is inspired by Robert Indiana’s “LOVE.” Enjoy love themed art activities, declare your love with a tattoo, make valentines cards for those you love, pose for photo ops in front of a heart installation shaped entirely of balloons, and more. All forms of love and creativity represented!
