This Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday. Now we love football as much of the next person and though this year we’re really into watching the ads because who really wants to watch the Patriots again. We still want the full Super Bowl party experience. Which consists of delicious food that we will regret eating a ton of and local craft beers. Both of those things you can get in Greensburg and we came up with a list of some SB53 parties going on in town and items you can grab for your party at home!
The Headkeeper Tapas Bar Super Bowl Brunch is back this year! We love brunch, we also love that HK is having a bloody Mary bar and mimosas. They’ll have some standard brunch fair like waffles, breakfast meats, fruit and an omelet station. But they’ll also be bringing sausage and biscuits, maple bacon bread pudding and a meat and cheese board. Tickets are on sale and will sell out! Purchase tickets by calling 724-838-7439 or stopping in.
Start your Super Bowl activities with some live music at Mr Toad’s as a precursor to the big game. Derek Woods Band will be accompanying your day drinking from 3-6pm with their rock n’ roll/Americana/jam band style. Make sure to grab some snacks off of Toad’s menu, they have some tasty items that go great with a cold beer.
So you started with some brunch at Headkeeper, the pre-gamed at Mr Toad’s, now it’s time to watch the game! Hugo’s Taproom is of course having a watch party with some free food and drink specials. It’s sure to be a good time and we’re hoping that Cookie is dressed for the occasion too!
Maybe you’re looking to stay home for the game but need some snacks. Newer Greensburg business, Yumzio Bistro, located at 640 N. Main St. (previously Mister Bones) is taking orders for 12-inch Vegetable trays, 12-inch Meat and Cheese trays and 16oz/8oz Buffalo Chicken Dips. You can order until Friday at closing for pickup on either Saturday or Sunday. Call 724-219-3634 for preordering and pricing.
Order Some Pies, Pizza Pies That Is
Football and pizza are two great combinations that never get old! Some of our favorite pizza places will be getting lots of orders for Super Bowl Sunday and we can’t decide who to order from! Do we get that sweet sauce and pie type crust from Jioio’s or Falbo’s, maybe it’s the classic or gluten free pizza from Little E’s Pizzeria or maybe we can celebrate the 13th anniversary of Rocco’s Pizzeria and try their new cauliflower pizza!
Whatever you decide to do for Super Bowl Sunday, we’re all cheering for the Rams.
