A Sip and Shop benefitting the Greater PA Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association – Westmoreland County Walk to End Alzheimer’s, will be held Saturday May 5 from 12pm-4pm at Jones Stone and Marble in Greensburg.
More than 100 plus ladies will be in attendance at the Sip and Shop from Westmoreland County including Gina Cerelli, Westmoreland County Commissioner and Miss Pennsylvania. Six local women business owners will be there selling their wares and joining the cause to raise awareness. Additionally there will be live music, a 50/50 drawing, Chinese auction, a wine tasting and a braid bar.
“I hope to be a person that promotes change and brings awareness to this disease that effects 5.7 million Americans,” said event organizer and owner of Coffee and a Blonde fashion blog Victoria Fox. “When thinking about what to do to bring awareness, I thought why not a ‘Sip and Shop.’ So many women in the area love to support local women and small businesses in Westmoreland County.”
Vendors, Wight Elephant, Robbery White Sage, Formation Esthetics and other beauty vendors will be in attendance and the event hopes to raise $3000 for Alzheimer’s Awareness.
