Lucky the Leprechaun is Coming to Town to Support Big Brothers Big Sisters

Lucky the Leprechaun is Coming To Town

As the pandemic continues to bring new challenges, nonprofits are finding they need to get creative and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Laurel Region are doing just that. The agency, which was a recent winner of Agency of the Year, is using some fun and their sense of humor to make St. Patricks Day memorable for the downtown Greensburg area.

For only a $12 donation per person, Lucky the Leprechaun will deliver you a boxed lunch complete with a ham and provolone sandwich or a veggie hummus wrap on Thursday, March 17. The Leprechaun will also bring a fun surprise, a lot of laughs, and the chance for some pretty great selfies. All proceeds will be used to serve children on the BBBSLR waiting list.

“We do whatever we can to get the children in our county served and for us, that often means thinking outside the box,” said Executive Director Stephanie Babich Mihleder. “The 122 children who are currently waiting for their “Big” drives us to do more every day. We know people will love their Lucky experience!”

People can order their Lucky experience by visiting www.BBBSLR.org and using the order form on the main page. There is a minimum order of five lunches per location and must be in a two-mile radius of downtown Greensburg, unless placing a large order. Orders must be in by the evening of Monday, 3/13.
