Join the Downtown Greensburg Project by celebrating its 3rd anniversary by giving back to the community and cleaning up the parquet on S. PA Ave. Donors and volunteers needed!
Hosted by Friends of South Greensburg Park, enjoy this free family-friendly concert in South Greensburg Community Park starting at 4pm! Pack a picnic or bring a cooler (no glass bottles).
Free Summer Concert in the Park
The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra invites you to celebrate the Fourth of July with them at St. Clair Park. Family and friends are encouraged to enjoy classics, patriotic favorites and pops including selections from the Sound of Music, Little Mermaid, Armed Forces Salute and much more. Donations are welcomed and music-inspired crafts will be available for kids!
All About You! Free Admission Sunday
On the first Sunday of each month, admission to The Westmoreland Museum of American Art is free. It’s a great day to bring all of your friends and family!
Wednesday, July 4
Start your morning with a 5K Run & Walk taking place at Lynch Field beginning at 8:30am. Team categories are available and prizes will be given to top placing participants. The 5K is a signup event only that includes a kids sparkler run afterwards! Benefits from the event will be given to the American Heart Association.
Fourth of July Tours at Hanna’s Town
Celebrate America’s birthday by visiting the Historic Hanna’s Town, a Revolutionary War settlement. The guided tours will illustrate how Hanna’s Town played an important role in the events before, during and after the war that created the United States of America.

44th Westmoreland Arts & Heritage Festival
Enjoy live music, great ethic foods and shopping at the Artist Market. Friends and family are encouraged to celebrate summer during this four day event! Festival runs July 5-8.
This acoustic trio emphasizes classic acoustic rock including selections from America, Van Morrison, James Taylor, Zac Brown Band and many more. Hosted by The Palace Theatre and Westmoreland Cultural Trust, enjoy this live performance from 6pm – 9:30pm.

Free Workshop – Small Business Basics
Entrepreneurs can learn the most valuable information for starting their own business or looking to improve their existing skills! This free workshop is hosted at The Greensburg Hempfield Area Library.
Hosted by Mr. Toad’s, there will be an all-day cookout and beer trucks available at the best party in July! See performances by Forest and the Sea, Craig & the Good Time Gang, Supper Break String Band and Habatat.

Antiques & Collectables Market
Starting at 7:30am and happening the 2nd Sunday of each month (May-October), visit over 100 vendors at Historic Hanna’s Town for a variety of one-of-a-kind items.

Starting at 7pm, the meeting is open to the public and is held in Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of the Greensburg City Hall.
Tuesday, July 10
This meeting is an AM meeting starting at 9am and will include coffee and confections for everyone to enjoy! Bring your favorite mug and discuss the topic of Passive & Diversified Income.
Enjoy a free summer concert at Seton Hill University’s Performing Arts Center performed by the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra Academy of Music’s Summer Philharmonic. This is open to the public and includes Brahms’ Academic Festival Overture, Borodin’s Symphony No. 2 – 1st mvt, John William’s Selections from Jurassic Park and more!

Trio Phonon is the second in the 2018 Summer Chamber Music series at Unity Chapel. Donations benefit the programs of the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra Youth Orchestra. The even is general admission at the door, costing only $10 per person.

A representative of the Westmoreland County Historical Society will be taking individuals on a photographic tour of downtown Greensburg starting at 9am.
