Monday, September 24
In celebration of Greensburg Craft Beer Week, what would be better than learning all about beer! Beer Literacy will be held on Monday, September 24 from 6:30-7:30pm at the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library, attendees will learn all about brewing beer, plus identifying flavors in beer from Ryan Slicker, owner and brewer of Fury Brewing! $15 at the door pays for the tasting but spaces are limited so registration is required.
Tuesday, September 25
Beerasana at All Saints Brewing Co.
Red Brick Yoga will be at All Saints Brewing Co from 7pm – 9pm! Join them for a one hour Vinyasa Yoga session, beer tasting with one free pint & $3 pint specials and giveaways for $25! This event is apart of Greensburg Craft Beer Week!
Prantl’s Bakery Pastry Pairing
As a part of Greensburg Craft Beer Week, join Prantl’s Bakery at Hugo’s Taproom at 6 pm! Rivertowne Brewing’s Zeke’s Coffee Brown Ale and Flying Fish Blueberry Strong Honey Ale will be featured.
Whitehorse Brewing will be at Clarabella Beauty Bar starting at 6 pm for Greensburg Craft Beer Week! There will be tastings, snacks free pumpkin spice hand massages, booking specials and a raffle to benefit the Westmoreland County food bank.
Learn Pole fitness moves (fitting for both genders) and enjoy outstanding brews afterwards! Sole’s Obscure Brewery will be at FitnessEnvi for Greensburg Craft Beer Week from 6:30 pm – 8 pm.
Wednesday, September 26
Free Admission Wednesday Evenings
The Westmoreland is offering FREE admission every Wednesday from 5pm – 7pm until December 26. Grab a bite from the food truck in the parking lot and relax after the work day!
Beer & Donuts with Sun Dawg Cafe
As a part of Greensburg Craft Beer Week, try some great beers and yummy donuts. Call or stop in to sign up at Hugo’s Taproom (724-836-4846) or Sun Dawg Cafe (724-205-6939) to taste these delicious pairings.
GBGCBW Trivia w/ BuzzWorthy Trivia
Trivia night at Yellow Bridge Brewing from 7 pm – 10 pm for Greensburg Craft Beer Week!
Thursday, September 27
Join Little E’s Pizzeria from 5 pm – 7 pm for a gluten free tasting night! This event is apart of Greensburg Craft Beer Week and hosted by the local gluten free brewery, Aurochs; the gluten free cider house, Arsenal; and the gluten free bakery, Herbalicious. There will be great food, drinks, appetizers, desserts and more!
Habitat for Humanity’s Oktoberfest!
Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity and Noble Stein Brewing Company will be at Oliver’s Pourhouse from 5 pm – 9 pm in conjunction with Greensburg Craft Beer Week! You won’t want to miss out on the celebrity bartenders, tap takeover by Noble Stein Brewing Company and the Oktoberfest theme.
Craft Beer Week Yappy Hour with Sobel’s Obscure Brewery
Petagogy is hosting a Fall Yappy Hour featuring Sobel’s Obscure Brewery as part of Greensburg Craft Beer Week! Bring your pups and enjoy some delicious brews! There will be Barely Bones Craft Dog Treats for the dogs and some bites from Miss Meatball LLC.
Southern Tier Pumking & Friends
Tapped Brick Oven & Pour House invites you to taste this year’s Pumking and all of it’s friends! They will be pouring all the variants including cold-pressed coffee, chai tea and rum barrel aged. This event is a part of Greensburg Craft Beer Week!
Abacus Jones will be performing at the last Weekend Warm-Up at Stonewater starting at 6pm. Come and enjoy live music, great cocktail features and food specials!
Join Hugo’s Taproom for a Dogfish Tap takeover featuring Fruit-full Fort in draft and in bottle starting at 8 pm! This event is apart of Greensburg Craft Beer Week!
Friday, September 28
As part of Greensburg Craft Beer Week, Flat Tire Co. will be hosting a parking lot jam! Stop by for a ride up to the Five Star or the free little kids race! Not into bikes? Wellness on the Point will also be hosting yoga from their location upstairs. Just want to hang out? Swing by for a good time. We will have beer 5pm to 8pm (beer sponsor TBD).
Homecoming & Family Weekend at Seton Hill University
Lasting until September 30, there will be a number of events happening perfect for students their families. There is a trivia night, tailgate competition, athletic events and much more! View the full schedule here.
As a part of Greensburg Craft Beer Week, UNIQUE INK TATTOO will be visiting Tapped Brick Oven & Pour House from 8 pm – 11 pm. Check out some cool artwork, talk about tattoos and sample great beer from Insurrection AleWorks! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local charity.
Saturday, September 29
Join Run Greensburg and Gingerbread Man Running Company for a fun run to celebrate Greensburg Craft Beer Week! This event is open to all, we’ll have varied paces and distances (including walkers). There will be craft beer and “beer cocktails” at Hugo’s afterwards! It is free for all, but it is asked that runners register using the link above.
Yoga Under the Stars + Beer Tasting
There’s still time for one more class outside! Join us for our next Yoga Under the Stars event on September 29 from 7:30-8:30pm on the top of the Robert Bell Parking Garage as a part of Greensburg Craft Beer Week! Class will be followed by a free beer tasting nearby at Hugo’s Taproom! Register for the class here.
Join All Saints Brewing Company for its 6th annual Oktoberfest celebration from 2 pm – 10 pm! There will be live music by Thieves from 3 pm – 5pm and SourMash from 7 pm – 10 pm, food by Elegant Catering Food Truck, and All Saints Oktoberfest Lager and the release of their Pumpkin Ale. This is a free event!
Arm Balance Workshop – Beginner
Learn the fundamentals of arm balancing, proper core engagement and prep poses at Satya Yoga from 6 pm – 9 pm! This event only costs $15 and pre-registration is required.
The String Theory @ Oliver’s Pourhouse
The String Theory will be performing at Oliver’s Pourhouse from 9 pm – 12 am!
Sunday, September 30
Get ready to relive the 90s and get a little messy, brewers! Breweries will go head-to-head by answering craft beer centric questions; competing in slimy, messy physical challenges; and ultimately facing the difficult obstacle course to determine who the Brewers Double Dare champion is. Everyone is encouraged to attend, spectate, and cheer on your favorite brewery at All Saints Brewing Co. starting at 2pm!
