“Small businesses are the engine of our economy and the heart and soul of our communities.” ~President Joseph R. Biden, Jr.
The Library is hosting a free pop-up vendor shop for local small businesses on Saturday, November 30, 2024, which is known nationally as Small Business Saturday. From 10am to 2pm, shoppers are invited to browse the wares of more than 40 vendors and authors all in one location to make your holiday shopping and gift-giving more convenient and meaningful.
Additionally, the Library is partnering with neighboring downtown shop owners to cross promote their specials and sales that day, so shoppers can visit those locations as well.
At the same time, the Library’s annual wreath decorating contest will be running. Visitors will be able to vote for their favorites by dropping spare change and bills into the voting boxes of their choice. A 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner will be announced at the end of the day!
