Same events with multiple days may not be posted every day due to the amount of other events. We’d like to give everyone an opportunity for people to see their events.

50th Annual Luminary Night

Luminaries will line the streets of downtown Greensburg during the 50th annual Luminary Night on Thursday December 5th from 5-9pm!

Schedule of Events 

5:00-9:00pm Make and Take Ornaments
1 ornament per person as long as there are supplies available. First come first serve to make your own ornament. 136 S. PA Ave Suite 2 (DGP Offices)

5:00-9:00pm Letters to Santa Station
Write your letter the man in the red suit (in the Art in the Alley) and drop it in the Letters to Santa Box located in the S PA Ave Parklet

5:30-7:30pm Winter Wonderland
Take a walk down candy-cane lane, say hello to Santa, make a fun craft and enjoy a cookie at The Greensburg Hempfield Area Library’s annual Winter Wonderland held during Luminary Night in the library basement. No registration needed.

6:00pm-8:00pm Horse and Carriage Rides
Pick up and drop off at the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library, sponsored by the City of Greensburg and Hartman Eye Care.

5:00-9:00pm – Live Nativity
A live nativity scene in front of the Westmoreland County Courthouse put on by the Christian Leaders Mentoring. They will have several dance groups, singers and free raffles, along with free hot cocoa & cookies.

6:00-9:00pm Symphony Carolers
Quartet of carolers will be singing at the library and roaming around downtown. Starting around 6pm.

8:00pm Stage Right Performance
Stage Right will be performing in the Zion Lutheran Church on S. PA Ave

5:00-9:00pm Holiday Night Market
Enjoy shopping local artisans and vendors for the perfect gift for everyone on your list! Located in Buncher Parking Lot.
