On August 21, 2021 from 10 AM to 1 PM, City Cribs LLC will host a day at the parklet on South Pennsylvania Avenue. The event will feature McFeeley’s Ice Cream Truck, Baldy’s Pizza, Henry’s Hoagies, Acoustic Music by Chris Daugherty, and face painting, something for all ages FREE to everyone, sponsored by City Cribs LLC until supplies last.
Invisible Man Brewing, located on South Pennsylvania Avenue is hosting a school supply drive for Greensburg Salem School District from August 18-22. City Cribs will be providing a collection box in the park the day of the event. Supplies such as pencils, paper, tablets, crayons, etc, are needed.
Attendees will receive a swag bag from RSVP Gifts and More that may include gift cards, coupons, or advertisement from many local businesses, while supplies last. Including The Wight Elephant Boutique, Artisans of Hands and Heart, Yumzio Bistro, Café Barista, The Trendy Bunny Studio, Sundawg Café, La Jardin Flowers, Spa 309, The Venue, Main Street Sweets, State of Virginia Boutique, Lapels, Miller’s Prom, Badges Bar & Grille, The TeeLife, The White Rabbit Café and Patisserie, Unity Printing, 60 Minute Missions Escape Room, Invisible Man Brewing, McFeeley’s Ice Cream Truck, Baldy’s Pizza, Henry’s Hoagies and many more.
“We couldn’t be happier to work with the City of Greensburg to affect much needed positive change, as well as partner with the Downtown Greensburg Project on beautification of the parklet this past spring,” said Suzanne Ward, Member of City Cribs. “There’s new restaurants, businesses, and people moving into the city and we’re grateful to be a part of the progress.”
City Cribs LLC is a real estate development company with increasing investment in the City. They also own 135-137 S. Pennsylvania Avenue where construction halted due to covid and the planned demolition of the building next door. Two retail stores are tentatively planned for this space and the parklet will remain to the public.
The 136 S. Pennsylvania property is completed and fully occupied, housing 10 apartments and 3 retail spaces. City Cribs also owns the Mills Printing Building on 31 N. Main Street which was also halted due to covid, but the project is getting back on track.
